Esther’s 2.0 is Now Hiring! We are looking for a Head Chef/Sous Chef who will be in charge of creating delicious meals for our patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Daily Kitchen Supervision.
- Prep Systems.
- Training cooks.
- Station organization.
- Quality control when GM is not in the kitchen.
- Direct Morning Prep and Batch Cooking.
- Assign prep task to line and fry cooks.
- Ensure core menu items are prepared on time and in the correct quantities.
- Taste food regularly to confirm seasoning and quality.
- Monitor prep levels and anticipate shortages.
- Communicate needed items to management or ordering staff.
- Ensure proper labeling, dating, and food rotation (FIFO).
- Coordinate additional prep for private events.
- Adjust batch quantities based on event size.
- Ensure event food is prepared and held properly.
